Youth Afterschool

Participants in the Study Buddies Afterschool program will receive homework assistance, life skills development, recreational activities and educational projects at four city-operated community centers: Bobby Pearse, Nicholtown, David Hellams and West Greenville. A healthy meal is provided daily. This program is open to students in 5K through 8th grade, from 2:30-6 p.m. on school days.

The City of Greenville operates six community centers located throughout Greenville with programs and services for preschoolers to senior adults. Children, youth, and their families have numerous opportunities to participate in a variety of classes, fitness opportunities, cultural arts, after school, and summer programs.

Recreation Programs are offered city wide. Recreation Programs coordinate with partners to promote various and diverse parks, amenities, events, and programs. Our goal is to work proactively to establish partnerships to further advance the mission of the City and Department.

Super Summer Camp is offered at four community centers throughout Greenville from 7:30 AM to 6 PM on weekdays during the summer. Our summer camp is filled with fun field trips, educational time, arts & crafts, games and more! A healthy lunch will be provided each day.
